Manual Cell Stretching System

Ideal for unidirectional proof-of-concept studies

  • The ST-0100 is used for evaluation purposes. Its unidirectional manual cell stretching chambers use the same chambers as the ST-1400.
  • Microscope Observation: This can be used with an inverted or upright microscope. However, oil immersion is not recommended because of material swelling.


System Configuration

Main Stretch Unit:

ST-0040 (for 4 cm2 chambers)

ST-0100 (for 10 cm2 and multi-well chambers)

Note: Cells should be cultured by placing the stretch system into a culture plate.


System Specifications

ST-0040: Uses 4 cm² chamber.

ST-0100: Uses 10 cm² chamber.

Stretch Ratio: Up to 20% max. Each turn of the dial increases the ratio by 0.5 mm (equating to a 2.5% increase for the ST-0040  system and 1.6% for the ST-0100).

Stretch Direction: Uniaxial

Compatible Stretch Chambers: SC-0040, SC-0100SC-1044 (for ST-0040 only), SC-0044(for ST-0100 only)
