Wireless Optogenetics Solution
For in vivo neural circuit studies
How Teleopto’s Wireless Optogenetics System can expand your research:
- Reduce the limitations caused by cables during complex bahvioural studies
- Different range of LED options to stimulate the correct neuronal circuits being researched
- Suitable for all mammalian subject models – variety of receiver sizes available.
How Teleopto Wireless Optogenetics System works:
In optogenetics experiments, an optic fiber connected to the head of an animal restricts animal behavior, especially in test cages with high walls, gates and other obstacles. Teleopto breaks this wall by enabling a complete wireless environment for optogenetic stimulation, using very light receivers sitting perched on the animal’s head.
Teleopto offers a range of wireless optogenetics receivers and LED cannulas to suit every experimental set-up. Extra small and lightweight receivers make it an ideal tool for mice studies. Choose from either pulse or continuous stimulation, each with high frequency options. The remote controller is compatible for both receivers, by switching the mode switch. Pulse receiver flashes at the same timing with trigger pulses, whereas continuous receiver alternates on and off upon a new pulse.
Multiple LED configurations allow for activation of different opsins that respond to different activation wavelengths.
Option to do bilateral stimulation to reach both hemispheres of the brain.
